WILL BUILDING NAMES GO AWAY OR CHANGE?No, buildings will continue to have their official names, but proper street addresses will be added and used for dispatching first responders, USPS mail, FedEx, UPS, other shippers, wayfinding, Google, and MapQuest.

WILL CURRENT BUILDING NUMBERS STILL BE USED?No, the current building numbers will be replaced with street address numbers.

WILL THE ADDRESSING OF INTEROFFICE/CAMPUS MAIL ENVELOPES CHANGE?No, you will continue to use the current maildrop (MD#) numbers for street addresses and interoffice mail.

WILL THE ADDRESS ON MY BUSINESS CARDS AND OFFICE STATIONERY NEED TO CHANGE?
Yes, but that can follow a phased-in approach based on supplies and needs. University Relations will establish an approved format with those vendors.

WILL SERVICES SUCH AS GOOGLE MAPS, MAPQUEST, ETC. NOW WORK ON CAMPUS?Unfortunately, it will take some time for the addressing updates to work on mapping services such as Google Maps and MapQuest. KSU has no control over these services, which all pull their mapping data from different sources. KSU representatives are reaching out to the major services to make the transition as smooth as possible.

WILL OUR ZIP CODE CHANGE?No, the ZIP code will remain as 30144.

WILL THE CENTRAL PARKING DECK ROAD NW NAME CHANGE?Yes, the new street name is now Parliament Garden Way NW. Street address numbers will remain the same, only the name has changed.
